lay preaching QUESTION from Mary Braun on January 25, 2002 My pastor asked me to obtain for him a copy of a recent Vatican document on lay preaching. We do not know the name of the document or exactly when it came out. Can you help me?

Your pastor is probably speaking of Instruction on Certain Questions Regarding the Collaboration of the Non-Ordained Faithful in the Sacred Ministry of Priest which was given in 1997 by the Holy Father. Inside, there is a section that deals with lay preaching.
I am not aware of anything more recent.
