possessed people increasing QUESTION from Alexa on December 29, 2002 Hi, In the last couple of years I have seen more and more cases of full blown demon possesion. Many I have seen are muslim and the worst one I ever saw was my neighbor. She was finally evicted by the landlord. She lived next to me for 6 months. I had to pray non-stop. I put a huge crucfix on my wall facing the driveway and spread Holy Salt around my house. I always would know when she was out in the driveway without even looking. Pure evil would eminate from her, and her husband, even though he said he was christian. She spent most of her time in the driveway, taunting me.
It left me exausted and I havn't felt the same. I feel drained and it's been two months. I go to Mass and I've read prayers to break curses and spells, I have done everything I can think of. I am not afraid of demons, but it exausts me. Is there anything I can do?

We will be in prayer for you and your family.
The first thing you should do is to avoid playing doctor. You are not likely qualified to determine if someone is possessed or not. To presume such things can lead to a lot of trouble.
Second, do not play front-line spiritual warrior if you are not knowledgable and experienced about such things.
Third, to participate in intercessory spiritual warfare, as you have done, can and often does lead to the enemy attacking you. The devil does not like people messing with him. So if we do battle against the devil, we can expect to be attacked back.
You need to continue to pray prayers to break curses, you need to especially pray Hedge Prayer of Protection. You can find these prayers in the catalog linked below.
It is important that if you are to do battle, then you must be sure of your own spiritual health. Going to Mass as frequently as possible, going to confession frequently, adoration before the Blessed Sacrament, praying the Rosary, developing various devotions. In other words, it is important to live a good devoted Catholic life.
