ET: From Other Planets or From Hell?An analysis of the UFO phenomenonby Matthew Joseph D'AdamoIn our modern society today there seems to be a great mystery and unhealthy interest surrounding what is known as the UFO phenomena. Throughout the past century and a half many claim to have been taken against their will by both hostile and benevolent extraterrestials who occupy these unidentified flying objects. The victims claim to experience a number of strange surgical procedures and sexual abuses among other bizarre acts by these entities. The evidence, however, suggests that this phenomena has absolutely nothing to do with life on other planets, but everything to do with demonic deception. In addition, there is an anti-Christian agenda behind this enigma. Many in our society would argue that this topic belongs to the realm of science. It is interesting, however, that the literature about UFO's is usually found in the Occult and New Age sections of bookstores and libraries instead of in the Science sections. This is as it should be. While there is genuine scientific theories posited by professional scientists about life on other planets, the alleged visitation of the earth by ET's, strange lights in the sky, and abduction of human beings is not about science. It is not the purpose of this essay to chronicle UFO incidents and experiences. Our purpose is to analyze the evidence for demonic elements in the UFO phenomena and the general implications of what that means for our society.A few years ago I asked a self-proclaimed 28-year old atheist the question, Where did we come from? His response was simply, Maybe the aliens made us. This statement gives us a general idea of where our culture is at today. It was indeed the place I was at in my early 20's I was on a search for truth and meaning in my life. I was strangely attracted to UFO's. I assume my attraction was fueled by the alluring and mesmerizing mystery that surrounds them. Within a year's time, I was unknowingly seduced into a world of satanic, occult beliefs and ideas that were disguised as knowledge from the stars. The UFO phenomenon goes beyond the fanciful images of little green men and saucers from space. Average people from all walks of life claim to have had actual experiences with other-worldly beings that both terrified them and changed their lives forever. A plethora of books relate accounts in which people are taken during the night by thin, reptilian looking creatures and subjected to strange procedures and given special knowledge. When I began reading about UFO's I simply wanted to know what they were and where they came from. What I discovered from reading these books was a demonic agenda. All of the literature and philosophies promoted in the UFO books I read dened the divinity of Christ, sin, and the Holy Trinity. The messages transmitted to the victims of alien abduction promoted the notion that Jesus Christ was nothing more than an ascended master like Buddha, Krishna, or Mohammad. The ET's denied that Jesus is God. They instead claimed that they are our creators. The ET's claimed that they are behind all of the great religions of the world. They stated that there is no such thing as sin, and that it is an outdated concept. The ET's preached that they will save us from our problems, if only we would let them. They stated that they will usher in a New Age that will free us from the bondage of religion. Holy scripture warns us to be careful because Satan masquerades as an angel of light (2 Corinthians 11:14). The main tactic behind the UFO phenomena as I experience it in my readings is deception. The topic of UFO's is enshrouded in mystery and thus it invites the victim to come closer and delve deeper into it. It is, I would assert, a cleverly devised plan from Satan designed to tease the victim with curiosity first, then inject them with it's poison. On the surface it seems like something extraordinary and mystical, but in it's core it is evil. Just as the apple in the Garden of Eden seemed sweet and delicious, once bitten it brought death to mankind. It seems that mankind is being set up once again for a great deception. Gradually the minds of humans are being fine-tuned to accept these things. Films, books, and even children's cartoons all have been mediums for indoctrinating the public with ideas of benevolent interplanetary saviors. Films such as E.T. and Close Encounters of The Third Kind promote the concept of friendly beings from the stars that come to bring enlightenment. Mankind thirsts for a savior without the cross which is exactly what these beings claim that they can offer. The similiarities between the UFO phenomenon and the demonic are too numerous to dismiss. There are books about how to contact extraterrestrials and much of the content in UFO books is delivered by means of Channeling. The use of Channeling in and of itself should tip us off to it's connection to the occult. In 1966-1967, the town of Point Pleasant, West Virgina was plagued with unusual aerial phenomenon and even a black, winged apparition with glowing red eyes that preceded the collapse of the Ohio/West Virginia Silver Bridge which resulted in the death of 46 people. The apparition later came to be known as The Mothman. Author, John Keel chronicled this event in his book The Mothman Prophecies. Curiously, this incident occurred in close proximity to the ancient Ohio serpent ritual mounds. Pagan ritual sites are often linked with UFO encounters. Mount Shasta, located in California, is a modern mecca for New Agers who flock to the site regularly to contact UFO's. Mount Shasta was originally inhabited by the Okwanuchu tribe of Native American Indians. The ancient Mayans of Mexico are well-known for human sacrifice rituals atop their pyramids, and not coincidentally Mexico, to this day, is plagued with regular UFO activity. Could it be that whatever was summoned during those pagan rituals of the past continue to haunt these areas? Another peculiarity which points to a demonic presence are the reports of the smell of sulfur attached to these aerial craft and entities. Since the 1950's our world witnessed the emergence of UFO cults. The purpose of these cults is to brainwash it's members into believing something other than the truth and freedom of Jesus Christ. They preach another gospel. St. Paul even warned against these sorts of false gospels, But even if we, or an angel from heaven, should preach to you a gospel contrary to what we have preached to you, he is to be accursed! (Galatians 1:8) An example of the destructive and tragic result of these cults is the Heaven's Gate cult of San Diego, California. The group's two founders, Marshall Applewhite and Bonnie Nettles claimed to have arrived via UFO from another dimension (a level above human) and would return via a secretive Process, which was taught to group members. On March 26, 1997, thirty-nine members of the cult jointly commited suicide in anticipation of a promise from the extraterrestrials that they were supposedly in contact with. Applewhite convinced thirty-eight followers to commit suicide so that their souls could enter a spaceship that they believed was hiding behind the Hale-Bopp Comet carrying Jesus. One of the biggest tactics of any cult is convincing it's members that it possesses some secret that only initiates will learn after joining the group. Another group, the Raelian cult, traces it's origins back to 1974 by a French man named Claude Vorilhon. He claims that he met an extraterrestrial atop a mountain that instructed him to tell the world that the Holy Bible had been mistranslated over time. The entity related to Vorilhon that the Hebrew word for God - Elohim, is actually a plural word that means those from the sky. As we know this is incorrect, the word Elohim, which is plural, refers to the Holy Trinity and the fact that the Infinite God is everywhere. Vorilhon was instructed to tell the world how Buddha, Mohammed, and Jesus were all extraterrestrials who came to give wisdom from the stars. This is the same cult that in 2002 made a public announcement to the media that it had cloned the first baby. As we can see by the two examples of UFO cults above, they usually find it imperative to attack Christianity in some way. They feed off of mankind's fearful nature, mankind's distrust and skepticism of Jesus and His truth. They lead people into their cults by way of causing them to ask What if? They cause them to question their faith in what Jesus said. This is a similar tactic that was applied with The Da Vinci Code. We know that Satan uses Scripture, but twists it slightly to distort it and make it mean something other than what it really is. He did this with Jesus during His temptation in the wilderness, and he still does it today. One of the most noteworthy, but little known links between the demonic and alien abduction is that of it's similarities to Satanic Ritual Abuse (SRA). Some of the similarities, as listed at the Alien Resistance website are as follows:• Examining table (AA) Altar table (SRA)• White Sheet (Both)• Instruments - Surgical Needles, Implant Instrument (AA) Knives, Needles (SRA)• Symbols - New space writing symbols (AA) Ancient writing, letters, numbers (SRA)• Emblems - Circles, Triangles, Snake (AA) Circular Pentagrams, Triangles (SRA) • Tracking Devices (Both)• Restraints - Clamps (Both)• Electrical Energy - Experiments to Heal or to Transfer Information (Both)• Reptilian Creatures present (AA) Beasts, Reptilian Creatures (SRA)• Told You are special (Both)• Told We will return (Both)• Told Do not tell (Both)• Amnesia (Both)• Bonding with Alien (AA) Bonding with Cult member (SRA)• Enforced memory loss (Both)• Paranormal experiences such as ESP, Astral travel (Both)• Headaches (Both)• Paranoia (Both)• Forced Impregnation (Both)• Forced Intercourse (AA) Ritual Rape (SRA)• Collection of sperm samples (AA) Collection of orgasmic secretions (SRA)• Shown films of destruction (Both)• Nude on examining table (AA) Nude on altar (SRA)Many professors and scientists who have studied the phenomena claim it to be closely connected to the metaphysical and magic rather than real science. Consider the quotes below from those who have seriously studied the subject:We are as a society developing a thirst for contact with superior minds that will provide guidance for our poor, harassed, hectic planet. In doing so, we may be ready to fall into a trap...perhaps a benevolent kind of trap. -Dr. Jacques ValleeI would like to step outside the conditioning maze and see what makes it tick. I wonder what I would find. Perhaps a terrible, superhuman monstrosity, the very contemplation of which would make a man insane?-Dr. Jacques ValleeThe 'medical examination' to which abductees are said to be subjected, often accompanied by sadistic sexual manipulation, is reminiscent of the medieval tales of encounters with demons. It makes no sense in a sophisticated or technical framework: any intelligent being equipped with the scientific marvels that UFOs possess would be in a position to achieve any of these alleged scientific objectives in a shorter time and with fewer risks. -Dr. Jacques ValleeBut the UFO phenomenon simply does not behave like extraterrestrial visitors. It actually molds itself in order to fit a given culture. -John AnkerbergThe UFO manifestations seem to be, by and large, merely a minor variation on the age -old demonological phenomenon.-John KeelA large part of the available UFO literature is closely linked with mysticism and the metaphysical. It deals with subjects like mental telepathy, automatic writing and invisible entities as well as phenomena like poltergeist [ghost] manifestation and 'possession.' Many of the UFO reports now being published in the popular press recount alleged incidents that are strikingly similar to demonic possession and psychic phenomena.-Lynn E. CatoeUFO behaviour is more akin to magic than to physics as we know it... the modern UFOnauts and the demons of past days are probably identical. -Dr. Piere GuerinAleister Crowley, the famous Occultist/Satanist/Freemason of the early 1900's who dubbed himself The Great Beast, gives us a clue to the UFO phenomena. In 1918 he composed a sketch of a demon that he claimed he contacted repeatedly for many years. Thirty years later people began reporting contact and abduction with entities closely resembling Crowley's demon. Compare Crowley's sketch on the left and a typical graphic of an ET on the right:```````````
It would appear from the available evidence that we are not dealing with a physical phenomena but a metaphysical one, a deceptive one. These aerial lights, when they are not natural phenomena, are most likely manifestations of the evil one, designed to pull in the curious. We as Christians must be on guard. Whether or not these stories of alleged alien encounters and abductions are actually true is not the issue. The issue is the source of these experiences and the nearly total common denominator of these entities leading souls away from Jesus Christ. The scriptures say that, The coming of the lawless one will be in accordance with the work of Satan displayed in all kinds of counterfeit miracles, signs and wonders.
